Morro Scuba Adventure

Our Morro Scuba Adventure is an experience like no other. Advanced divers who have the courage will be thrilled to swim through the tunnel at 100 ft. Everywhere you look, you'll see fantastic pinnacles formed millions of years ago when ancient volcanoes rose out of the earth and spewed hot lava. Today, this field of volcanic activity is an underwater playground for divers. If you've logged more than fifty dives, you can join us for the Morrow Scuba Adventure, and advanced dive for those who want a challenge.

El Morro is located outside the Bay of Banderas, where the currents are stronger but the payoff comes when you get to get close to large pelagic fish and other marine life that's more common in the Pacific Ocean. The terrain is absolutely the bumpiest it could be, covered in pinnacles, caves, tunnels, crevices and underwater mountains. There's so much to explore we've made our Morro Scuba Adventure a total of seven hours long! You get plenty of time to dive and enjoy your day at your own pace, discovering the marvels of El Morro.

Since you're out in the Pacific on this dive, you might see some amazingly large fish: wahoo, sailfish, and tuna. The rocks and pinnacles are saturated with barnacles and coral, which attracts tuna and other fish. The pinnacles extend beyond the surface of the water, so even the approach to this dive site is stunning. The drop-offs are thrilling here at El Morro as well. You just won't know what to explore next! It's a good thing our tour gives you plenty of time.

Some of the largest moray eels live at El Morro. The manta rays here are big, too. All the marine life is fascinating, impressive, and beautiful at El Morro, and our PADI certified dive masters are known for their respect for the environment and their knowledge of each dive site you visit.
