El Sequial Scuba Adventure

Advanced divers, hear the call for a touch of danger as you dive with large pelagics in the open water of the Pacific Ocean! El Sequial Scuba Adventure features incredible drop-offs, steep walls, and a large mesa-like structure on the ocean floor. The main feature of El Sequial, the table top, is surrounded by depths of up to one a half miles!

El Sequial's mesa is 60 to 80 feet deep, and 300 feet long. That translates into: lots and lots of terrain to explore! You'll be glad you booked the seven-hour Corbetena Scuba Adventure, for plenty of time to see El Sequial's incredible formations and sea life. On one side, you'll find a forest of black coral, mystifyingly beautiful. Along the top of the dropoff is diverse coral life that could occupy some divers the whole day if there weren't other exciting things to see.

The fish here are larger because the conditions are less protected than in Banderas Bay. There are also more sharks here, no doubt about it. But never fear: our PADI-certified dive masters are very well experienced with shark behavior. They'll let you know if there's any danger. There rarely is, so enjoy these majestic creatures as they cruise on by out of site.

Our divemasters and captains know the waters of Puerto Vallarta, the Bay of Banderas and the waters just outside the Bay, like their own backyards. They know it's well worth the longer trip to reach El Sequial. We know you'll agree once you dive this amazing site for the first time. You may even want to come back another day to finish exploring what you missed!

No need to pack food. We provide a light breakfast, lunch and beverages. Your full trip lasts seven hours, so if you get hungry easily, you should bring along some snacks for yourself. It's a full day of fun, boating, diving, and adventure and our crew is there to make sure you have the safest, most enjoyable day possible.
