The granite arches and the rich marine ecosystem will enchant even the most experience diver. The main feature is of course the underwater arches, for which the park is named. There are five small islands made of rock and covered by lush tropical greenery and cactus. The rise majestically from the ocean floor, so as your catamaran approaches, you'll begin to feel the wonder and beauty of the area, even before you hit the water. The five islands are home to sea hawks, swallows, pelicans, and blue footed boobies. It's like having an extra bonus to your scuba expedition: an eco tour!

Below the surface of the water on each island, arches have been formed over time by forces of nature, to form a unique environment for scuba diving and underwater photography. Some of these arches are actually tunnels, so you can imagine the fun you're going to have exploring at Los Arcos!
